| What kind of websites do you allow? (do you allow adult content?) |
NO PTP sites!!
NO ADULT CONTENT. NO HATE, NO WAREZ, NOTHING ILLEGAL, NOTHING ILLICIT,
NOTHING IMMORAL, NO BANNER FARMS, NO FRAME BUSTERS. It's common sense stuff
really, but for the record we're here to promote legitimate web pages only.
Typically our members promote online businesses, businesses tools and
business events. As long as these meet with the above guidelines and don't
offend anyone then that's fine by us. |
| Are there any specific websites you do not allow? |
| Yes, in addition to the above do not promote any of the following or your account will be deleted without
notification: shareadspace.com, exitcashflow.com, outwar.com, flyinads.com This list will be expanded in the future. |
| Do you allow popups, pop-unders and exit pages? |
| Unfortunately the use of popups, pop-unders and exit pages are far too common to be of any effect
anyway. Our policy is to allow a maximum of 1. If you are
earning credits from another program that shares your ad as a popup
somewhere else keep in mind that except in exceptional circumstances the
viewer will be hostile towards your advert and it may actually be
detrimental to your success. Also make sure that the adverts you end up
promoting won't get you banned from the exchange. |
| Do you allow Fly-in-ads? |
| No. This will lead to immediate suspension of
your account. A fly-in-ad is a dialogue box that forces the viewer to
perform an action before it goes away. Fortunately the fly-in-ad
concept has been a gigantic failure so don't think you are losing out on
anything! |
| How do I report an inappropriate website? |
| Select 'report site' when surfing
and it will be investigated or email us at admin@hitpirate.biz |
| Why can I not see my website when surfing? |
| If you saw your own website you would be wasting your credits!
Checkout your counter and watch it spin - that's the best way to check your
website is being visited!!! |
| Can I use a site rotator? |
| Absolutely. I have no problems with site rotators as long as they do not break our TOS. If you submit a rotator and it breaks our TOS your account won't be suspended, it will be terminated. It will be your resposibility to ensure that it doesn't disrupt the exchange in any way. |
